Esha Gandhi, Student Executive Director - egandhi6@gmail.com

Gandhi_HeadshotEsha is a Senior in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics with minors in Mathematics and Business. She has been a member of IBC since 2013, working as a consultant for two semesters, a Project Manager for one, a Senior Manager for two and now the Student Director of the organization for the 2016 - 2017 year. In addition to IBC, Esha is the External Vice-President of Phi Gamma Nu Professional Business Fraternity. In Summer 2015, Esha interned at A.T. Kearney in their Strategic IT Practice as a Summer Business Analyst, and in Summer 2016 she interned at PwC as a Summer Management Consulting Associate. She is actively pursuing a full time career in consulting and is looking forward to leading IBC this year.

Jake Alexander, Senior Manager - jakealexander1995@gmail.com

Alexander_HeadshotJake is a Junior studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in the Hoeft Technology and Management program. He joined IBC in the Spring of 2015, serving as a Consultant, Project Manager, and now Senior Manager. He has worked on projects in agriculture, medical technology, and the food industry. He enjoys his IBC experience because of the tangible impacts his team engagements have made and the business acumen he has gained. With deep rooted interests in technology and its impact on society, Jake is pursuing a career in either product development or consulting.

Afra Ashraf, Senior Manager - afraash95@gmail.com

Ashraf_HeadshotAfra is a Senior in the College of Business pursuing dual degrees in Accountancy and Finance with a minor in the Hoeft Technology & Management program. She has been a member of IBC since Spring 2015 and was a Consultant for one semester and a Project Manager for two semesters before becoming a Senior Manager. Her projects have been focused around marketing, operations, and technology. During Summer 2016, Afra interned for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Management Consulting intern and plans to pursue consulting as a full-time career.

Adiel Di Bartolomeo, Senior Manager - dibarto2@illinois.edu

DiBartolomeo_HeadshotAdiel is a graduate student in the College of Business pursuing a degree in Technology Management after receiving his bachelor's in Technical Systems Management with a minor in Business last May. He has been a member of IBC since Fall of 2015 and has experienced two international projects as a Consultant and Project Manager and one domestic as a Senior Consultant. The international projects have been in the hospitality and security monitoring industries while the domestic project was a supply chain analysis and optimization. In addition to IBC, Adiel has been a part of Engineering Leadership Committee and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Kane Jacob, Senior Manager - kkjacob2@illinois.edu

Jacob_HeadshotKane is a Senior in the College of Business pursuing dual degrees in Accountancy and Finance. He has been a member of IBC since Fall 2014, working as a Consultant for a semester, a Senior Consultant for two semesters, and Project Manager for two semesters before becoming a Senior Manager. His past projects include market analysis and entry strategies, small business operations, and feasibility studies on educational programs. Alongside IBC, Kane was also the former alumni relations chair for Beta Alpha Psi. Kane spent the past summer as a Finance Intern at Cummins Inc. and will be pursuing a full time career in Audit.

Dan Klek, Senior Manager - danielklek@gmail.com

Klek_HeadshotDan is a Senior in the College of Liberal Arts and Science studying Economics with minors in Business and Statistics. He has been a member of IBC since Spring 2015 and has served as a Consultant, Senior Consultant, Project Manager, and now a Senior Manager. His previous projects focused on strategic operations, marketing, and market entry strategies for a range of companies including tech startups and research laboratories. Dan spent this past summer as an investment analyst at the University of Illinois Foundation Investment Office, and is actively pursuing a career in consulting.

William Lubega, Senior Manager - lubega2@illinois.edu

Yang_HeadshotWilliam is a PhD Candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He joined IBC in Spring 2016, serving as a Consultant and Project Manager for one semester each before becoming a Senior Manager.  In previous roles with IBC, he has worked on marketing strategy and public sector projects.  His PhD research focuses on the technical and financial risks at the nexus of electric power supply and water resource management. Prior to joining the University of Illinois, he completed undergraduate and master’s degrees in Uganda and the United Arab Emirates.

Kylie McBride, Senior Manager - klmcbrd2@illinois.edu

McBride_HeadshotKylie is a second year MBA student concentrating in data analytics. She has been a member of IBC since August 2015. Prior to joining the MBA program, she was a senior financial consultant for CVS Health located in Northbrook, IL.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 2011. Her IBC projects have primarily focused on strategy and marketing.  

Harshita Reddy, Senior Manager - hreddy3@illinois.edu

Reddy_HeadshotHarshita is a Senior in the College of Engineering pursuing a degree in Computer Science. She has been a part of IBC since fall 2015, serving one semester each as a Consultant and Project Manager before becoming a Senior Manager. Her work thus far has focused on marketing strategies and revenue-generating strategies, with projects completed in the agriculture industry and beverage industry. In addition to IBC, Harshita is a TA for Stat 100, an RA at Bromley Hall, and a member of Women in Computer Science. Last summer Harshita interned at FTI Consulting as a Financial & Enterprise Data Analytics intern, and she is actively pursuing a full time career in technology/analytics consulting.

Evie Richards, Internal Manager - eiveevie@gmail.com

Jacob_HeadshotEvie is a Junior in the College of Business pursuing a double major in Information Systems/Information Technology and Marketing. She has been a member of IBC since Spring 2015, serving as a Consultant for two semesters, Project Manager, and now Internal Manager. Her past projects have centered around marketing and the Strategic Operations Team, which is the internal backbone of IBC. In addition, Evie is the Vice President of Operations for Global Business Brigades and an active member of Illinois Business Council.

Kyle Textor, Senior Manager - textorky@illinois.edu

Textor_HeadshotKyle is a second-year MBA student focusing on Strategy and Data Analysis. Kyle joined IBC last year, and served as a Consultant and Project Manager for one semester each before becoming a Senior Manager this year. His IBC projects have focused primarily on market entry strategy and software optimization. Outside of IBC, Kyle is the President of the MBA Association and a member of the Graduate Marketing Association. He completed his undergraduate career in 2009 with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Kyle spent the summer as an intern at Deloitte Advisory as a Risk Analytics Specialist and is currently pursuing full-time opportunities in consulting

Howard Yang, Senior Manager - hhyang2@illinois.edu

Yang_HeadshotHoward is a Junior in the College of Engineering pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering with minors in Computer Science and the Hoeft Technology & Management Program. He has been a member of IBC since his freshman year, having served as a consultant for one semester and as a Project Manager for two semesters before rising to Senior Manager. His past projects include market analysis and expansion strategy, relationship development strategy, and supply chain analysis and optimization. In addition to IBC, Howard is the Director of Avionics at Student Space Systems, a research assistant within the Department of Aerospace Engineering, a College of Engineering James Scholar, and a member of the College of Engineering Dean's List. Howard is actively pursuing a full-time career in consulting.

IBC Student Leadership Team

Illinois Business Consulting is student led and student driven. Students apply for the leadership positions and are selected based on their prior IBC experience, work experience, project management skills, leadership capabilities and interpersonal communication skills. The Student Leadership Team is responsible for running the consulting operation, staffing the projects and performing key marketing, operations and training activities. Student Senior Managers are responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the client projects under their supervision.
